Our staff are unpaid volunteers. We are a charitable organisation. Any information and/or assistance that we provide to you, either through your use of our helpline or otherwise, is provided in good faith, but does not represent legal advice or a legal service. You accept that any reliance that you place on such information or assistance, without seeking advice from a qualified legal professional, must be at your own risk. We disclaim all liability for any actions taken or not taken based on any service that we provide to you.

Limitations

You acknowledge that the exclusions and/or limitations in these Conditions are reasonable having regard to the fact that the Website and the services that we provide are freely accessible at no cost, that we are a charitable organisation and that our staff are unpaid volunteers.

Cookies

A cookie is a small text file which is automatically saved on your computer when you visit a website and contary to popular belief is not a program or a piece of malicious code. Typically they contain two pieces of information: a site name and a unique user ID and can be read using a text editor like Notepad.

We currently do not use cookies on our main website as it is for information only. Our secondary website used by staff and volunteers
uses session cookies to store the user login information to assist with the navigation through the site. These are only stored on a
temporary basis and are removed at the end of a user session.

Third Party cookies

As part of our Online Booking system, we use the services of Stripe.com to validate and process credit and debit card payments.

Collection of personal information

We confirm that we are committed to protect your privacy and keeping your data secure. We use a variety of security measures and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorised access.

When you contact us via our telephone helpline or make a visit to an advice centre, your contact details and your child's details are documented along with the reason for your call/visit and any advice given. This information is held should you need to contact us again, and is also used anonymously in the compilation of statistics to monitor the effectiveness of our services.

If you contact us via an email link on our website or whilst making an event booking, your personal information will only be used for us to contact you.
No personal data you send us will be disclosed to a third party without your permission.
